Funny how Hadley, as a local lad hasn’t quite hit the heights for Hull? He was brilliant for us and you’d be hard pressed to find a Wakey fan anywhere who wouldn’t snap your hand off to sign him back! There’s been a long list of players down the years though who’ve played their best stuff for us yet failed to play as well elsewhere....really hope we sign him, would slot back in perfectly in our pack!

I've never seen anything other than a steady player in Hadley, I'd keep him as a squad player, but if he can a better somewhere else good luck to him. I think if Lane can stay injury free, he will be a better player, if not already.

Hadley is underrated at Hull. A solid player with a cool head and great engine, can’t have a team full of world beaters. If he can go elsewhere and get better game time then I don’t blame him one bit, just hope it’s not Rovers.

Deano has had a few injuries and illness setbacks since his return.

He looked a player for Wakey, and Chezzie had him playing a different style, acting half/hooker even organising, with that extra responsibility he flourished, probably playing his best ever footie.

But apart from team injuries, we need him to play a different role, a straight running tackling second row, he couldn’t displace Mini or Sika, and Ellis and even Jordan Lane have been favoured before him.

He seems a great guy and a local lad, plus a model professional, but obviously with probable recruitment, his contract seems to be the problem, perhaps because of his excellent spell with you on loan, and his England Knights inclusion, Dean probably feels he can get a better deal elsewhere.

I would say Wakey were in the driving seat for his services, but apparently there is other interest.

Good luck to him whichever route he chooses.

I like Hadley and I’d keep him . Not sure what some people want at times . We can’t have a team full of internationals and no team does . Every team has steady no frills players who do the graft and basics right .

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Don't think its a case of fans not wanting him far from it, I think it comes down to the fact its a salary capped sport and it needs utilising to the max. We need serious recruitment and the club have seemingly made an offer to Hadley that they think he is worth. Hadley and his agent as is their right may feel he can get better elsewhere, if thats the case then good luck to him and no one can or will blame him if he signs elswhere.

I think he's worth a deal but then again we can't keep everyone whether home grown or not, its not about his ability just similar to Green for me as in has the ability but just not on the field enough so the club may reflect that in any deal.

I would be more concerned about losing Litten, he seems like a quality natural successor to Houghton.
