I've always thought he might try it with us at Wakey first, just because the expectations are lower and his connections to the club, but his first stint at coaching at the Queensland Cup level ended with two titles, I think, and since then he's been assistant at a Grand Final winning side and then under Wayne Bennett. He'll go well, particularly as he knows the English game, culture, and Hull's expectations.
The drawback will be, however, the same reason that I think he won't come to Wakey: he's a big family man and he has school-age kids (from my memory of him carrying tiny ones around with him on the pitch at Wakey when still playing), and might not want to either leave them or bring them over.
