Not that this changes much but I think it proves (not that it was ever in doubt) that Manu is very much an important player for us & will be missed when he retires/changes clubs.

Fantastic player - slightly fewer minutes for even more impact and he'd be devastating IMO.

One thing that can't be put in quantitive terms easily is the mentality of the players. I think I could get the team we have on paper to put 40, 50 points on Wakefield, Salford etc... The problem is getting the players' to believe in themselves, to put them in the right frame of mind to make the right decisions when it maters, to have the belief that they can go out there and beat Leeds, Wigan or St Helens. A good manager does that.

A real shame for him that with his quality he's spent his peak years in a duff side. Deserving of retiring with a couple of medals, IMO, definitely good enough.

Mrs B has already pointed some statistics that are far more relevant than offloads, metres, carries, etc.

The record in big games under Agar is not just poor it's a disgrace. Four wins in thirty games against Wigan, Warrington, Saints and Leeds. No play off win and no notable Cup win in three years.

Indeed, its all well and good running in 50+ points against the poor sides, its what happens on the day in the big games that matters.

and the obvious concern is the lack of success will make our better players want to leave and go win things (Look at what has happened to Arsenal this summer)

I had hoped that pearson's arrival would put an end to the pointless spin but obviously not

The stats from the last 10 matches would be relevant if they had moved us up the table from say 8th to 4th but as it is we're in a dog fight for 7/8/9th spot, which as previous posters have pointed out is unacceptable.

Hopefully this is how AP will see it but who knows.

Hope for the best and fear the worst.

And finally I'd be delighted to have Justin Morgan as our coach for next season and feck the 'let's get on with our nasty neighbours'.

Pointless spin? It's showing how we can't finish off games even if the stats are looking in our favour.

Big fan of Willi Manu and agree he would have been even better in a good side over the past 4 years when, as well as playing with better players, he might have been coached to follow the man with ball into space instead of hanging back to take passes from a standing start.

Chicken and egg I don't know but the guy has the ability to be fixture in the SL Dream Team.

Sadly for Willi it just hasn't happened.
