if we are at risk of losing to Salford (with the worst defense in the league) by resting two players we have big problems. There's no point having all these backup players if they aren't good enough for 1st team duty. Its a short turnaround to the derby and then we go to Knowsley Road on the monday, 3 games in 8 days, we have to use the squad.

That means you are fussed, as Moa couldn't do much more IMHO.

So in 80 mins of rugby, Moa couldn't last more than 10 minutes? Agar, only played Tacks for a similar amount of time too!

Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?

He certainly showed a great deal of determination and endeavour in the under 21's on Saturday, and more significantly got in two big 20 minute spells! He also showed what a great ball handler he can be when given a free role.

A couple of years back I don't think we would have seen that from Kingy in the reserves he was above all that , but he certainly looked dedicated and fired up on Saturday! Perhaps we should stick, but last Friday for me showed that a player that can only play one 15 minute spot can be a bit of a luxury.

That’s good to hear. I hope Kingy can remain focussed if he should find himself in the 21’s for a prolonged period of time.

We are a bit stronger in the forwards than in previous seasons and one or two may find themselves a bit further down the pecking order than they would wish. If and when this happens it is vital that the players in question roll up their sleeves and focus on winning their place back, so the attitude that Paul showed at the weekend is encouraging.

I agree with most on here, that providing that Kingy could rack up at least 30 mins game time, then he should get the nod for a place on the bench.

Would be worth bringing in King for Moa if Kingy could do longer spells, Quins are a hardworking side and we can't really afford to play Moa in this one I don't think.

Think Kingy should get the bench spot in place of Moa, and possibly Washbrook for Lee.
Moa isn't that effective at the moment in attack or defence and think Kingy can give 2 x 15/20 min stints if only to remind us that he is still here and up for it.
Although Tommy hasn't done too much wrong, I think Washy should get the nod to mix things up a bit more as he has more of an eye for a gap.

bench of; King, Houghton, Thackray, Washbrook.

and if used to full advantage could swing it our way

Agree King for Moa at least for a week or two to give the kid a break and pop him in the reserves will do him the world of good. If Kingy CAN do 2x 20mins spells this could allow Dowes a chance to recharge the batteries a wee bit ready to smash the Red and White scum on Good Friday
