I have been made redundant a couple of times. It can be the worst thing or a great opportunity. Which one can be largely down to how you approach it, but it really is a chance to re-assess the direction of your life and take on a new challenge. But NEVER hand over money to an employment agency. If they ask you for money, they are not a reputable and responsible employment agency and are just after your redundancy pay-out.
The re-training on offer on this thread is a great opportunity - imho.
