I was thinking more like half and hour or something. But I know what you mean, might sound daft but how much do you actually think Agar plans his team around just incase of injuries.

If it was just the last half an hour or so of the game it wouldn't be such a problem.

I think for positions such as prop that need rotating he probably does think about potential injuries and how to cover them. For players that normally play 80 minutes I would assume its a case of dealing with an injury if it happens probably by shifting players around a bit rather than letting it decide team selection as such.

I see your point but my concern would be an injury to Dowes or Cusack.

I don't think we should be picking the squad based on potential injuries, especially when we have enough players who can cover for pretty much any eventuality within the squad. In the squad I suggested, we have Dowes, Cusack, Thackray, Radford and possibly Manu and Burnett who coud play prop. If we did have to move one of the back-rowers, we have Berrigan, Houghton, Yeaman and G Horne who could all cover there if necessary. I can see why you wouldn't want to be risking it, but I feel we'd benefit more from Washbrook getting a bit more time than from giving the props 20-30 minutes extra rest between them.

Normally I would totally agree you but with prop being a position that gets rotated the most I think it is a risk, especially when you consider our props aren't the biggest anyway. Having said that the Celtic front row doesn't look that great anyway so maybe its worth the risk.

That was another thing: they don't seem to have much in the front-row. Being totally dominated by Ray Cashmere and Craig Stapleton isn't a good sign at all.

Which is why I hope we go with 4 props and not 3. It seems like a good chance to really dominate their pack if we have 4 fresher props

My point was that, even with just three, we should be dominating anyway. That then allows the most beneficial squad, as far as the rest of the season goes, to be picked.
