I have to be honest and say i don't really get all the hype surrounding Chase- decent early part of the season but went missing when Cas needed him most to finish in the play offs and was poor in the Cup semi final.

Danny Orr had a major part to play in Cas early form also and I wouldn't want him here either.

Moments of brilliance in the opposition 20 - but bit of a passenger in his own half - he doesnt direct the side around much which from a half back we need. There are players that can do the job he does on half the money IMO

Totally agree m8 Orr has been fantastic for them

still a good player is chase,you always hope he is out when you play cas.

Like any other half chase is less effective behind a beaten pack with our 4 best props out for most of the second half of the season chase was understandably less effective than we were competing in the forwards but he still won us plenty of games and had some moments of brilliance. I dont think he was poor in the semi, that try he scored was absolutely brilliant.

chase is a luxury player for me. Does some great things but also tends to drift in and out of games. Would be brilliant alongside a scrum half who organised a team

No matter how much I would want him in the team, I agree with this. He definatley goes quiet in games then suddenly pulls brilliance out of the bag. Brilliant for 80mins would make him a truly top player IMO.
