From everything Pearson has said, it seems reasonable to assume you're not massively constrained by the salary cap for 2023. I mean, if you get a fee for Connor, I suppose that may change things.

Some fair points MR, I think their are a couple of reason he could go, longer contract and more chance of playing regularly, but I tend to agree I can't see him moving that far away, as he has too many business ventures in Hull, maybe a club he could commute to would be a better option. I think he will stay at Hull and try and earn a new deal for that he needs a big start to the season, keeping injury free is key.
Think it's more likely to be either Shaul or Griffin going if anyone.
