Not only the worst Leeds team in SL era but in the 32 years I've been watching them. An FC fan was gloating on the Leeds forum when we were stuffed by Rover's the other day, think he said something like "can't wait to play you lot etc, etc". Thank you for jinxing your team last night sir, whoever you are.

Jinxing the team are you 7 years old?

Just enjoy the win, it was still a decent Leeds team with more internationals than we had, both teams had injuries to key players but Leeds coped better, played smarter and deserved the win.

Appalled use of Feka by Radford, in a tight game with the conditions and looking tired, you bring on a player for 10 minutes to make 3 tackles and 1 carry.

Might as well have a young kid on the bench for experience.

Like Whiting I think it's time to let him go and play for someone else.

HKR THE PRIDE OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Re: Whinos (A) : Sat Apr 16, 2016 7:38 am
Disappointing result , but great effort.
A lucky Leeds try . The game breaker was not forcing a drop out , not stopping Golding from getting out .
Was Thompson taken out at the end ? Should have had a penalty.

Probably first time ever, I wish it wasn't raining against leeds, normally helps us out to make the game closer. We'd of beaten them easily last night in better conditions. Dissapointed, but not the end of the world . Thought the ref was pretty good, only gripe was on 1 off our breaks in the second half, we play the ball 10 out, leeds players trying to get back, blatantly getting in the way of us getting ball out wide, we make a complete hash of it, but how we don't get a penalty for offside I'll never know! Really not sure what these linesman do

Disappointing that we lost in the context of league positions and recent form but there were a number of contributing factors. Playing with only one half, the weather, pritchard going off all went against us gaining the win IMO plus I though leeds' commitment in defence looked a step up from what I've seen of them so far this season. We desperately need a good quality half back who can be on the field most of the time to partner sneyd. I'm bored of us signing mid 30's cast off halfs who are past their best and spend more time sat in the stands than they do playing the game. Unless we do the team will continue to flatter to deceive IMO.

We've had a decent run of results mainly off the back of improved confidence from the last 20 at rovers but really we need to step up a gear and start to put games away and not be in the situation of constantly being in tight games which can go either way. So far we're 3 from 6 in tight games.

Some big games coming up which will define our season. In the next 6 we should be looking to win a minimum of 4, possibly 5, which would put us in a strong position come the split. There is also the possibility we will only win one or two of them which will probably leave us looking over our shoulders and worrying about the middle 8's

Totally agree. Despite the defeat I can see the positives even in a result as disappointing as that last night. We've got a good solid group of players at the club at the moment. Just need to keep positive and I'm certain we'll be right in the mix come the end of the season.

Tight game that could have gone either way but 4th and 2 points off the top near the half way stage is fantastic .!!!
(Black n white specs on) I thought Leeds got a better rub of the green from the ref especially pens while in their own half , what was the pen count ?

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Cringeworthy decision by the referee according to radio humberside, 3 yards offside.

Looks a try to me :)

Yeh Pritchard going off when he did really seemed to lose our momentum , we seemed to be making yards for fun at that point. Wouldn't of been a bad game to give one our young hb a go up against lelly . Or at least have them on the bench instead of feka, what a waste of a bench spot was that, unless he picked up a knock
