Surley we have too, really struggling in the backrow, that's Wynne, Evans and now Griffin.

Saying that I fully expected us to replace Evans by now.

Not sure what the point in releasing him is, if we don't replace him, especially as it sounds like we are going to stoll pay him.

I think it makes sense, personally. He would’ve only played 5/6 more games (depending on reserve fixtures). Realistically, do we make play offs? I’d say probably not. It gives young lads like Staveley a chance to step up at the back end of the season. Wish Griffin this best, but from hearing about his problems of back chatting even in training, he certainly was never going to last long with Tony in charge regardless of form.

Old news , posted weeks ago he’d had his contract taken away from him , but the crew wouldn’t have it.

Would hope we bring Staveley through or have a player coming in as the prospect of only having 2nd row options of Savelio, Lane & Lovodua doesn’t fill me with much confidence.
Fash while doing his best today showed a SR he certainly isn’t.

If we don't bring anyone else in it probably gives us chance to keep Scott in the team and give Staveley a crack

Might be to get Ashworth in ?? Not picked again for Hudds this week.

Can't compare McIntosh with Barron, McIntosh an established SL player on a decent contract, one of several to dramatically improve recently under the new regime - maybe confidence related but looks much fitter too.

Barron, Martin & others developing in reserves & on loan. Two brain farts or errors can cost you the game so TS always going with his best option. For once I do have faith in the youngsters actually coming through & staying in the team.
