No surprise that we have non-professional players when our scouting system seems so bad, and we've had that for several years under different coaches and both Hetherington & now Pearson. Every year we get desperate and sign players up out of desperation, not checking what their off the field attitude is like and with several players (Dykes being the most prominent example) we don't seem to do much in terms of medicals either.
We knew that Liam Watts was disruptive of the field for example, but we still brought him in mid-season because we 'needed a prop' instead of checking that he was the type of professional we needed.
I appreciate that since SL's gone to 14 teams, and the Aussies & Kiwi's have stopped coming that there are less quality players to pick from...and that sometimes you have to gamble on a player, but we seem worst than most teams for bringing in players that are either not up to it, injured, like a drink or 10 or have off field issues.
in the last couple of years alone we've released the likes of Holdsworth, Seymour, O'Carroll, Johnson, McKinnon, Jamie Ellis, Lynch, Obst...its like a revolving door!

Nearly all of those was bought by the old board and ex coaches......not heard anything about Watts been disruptive off the pitch where as Holdsworth was the main culprit last season and some of others asked to go.
Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand Workin' in the dark against your fellow man But as sure as God made black and white What's down in the dark will be brought to the light

Well you will be pleased to know if we meet again and we come to you, be it in the cup, SL or the middle 8 the drum wont be making an appearance as its too large to carry about
However if you come to us.......
That drum was bad but nothing compared to the doughnut who chanted by himself "you only sing when you're fishing" about 50 times. I will lay my cards on the table,we will not finish in the 8.IMO

Tell the guy not to bother with a smaller drum either, they're banned at the KC (thank goodness)
