I don't have full confidence in all of Hodgson's abilities, but I think he's probably qualified to identify which player is the better fullback. If you play anywhere in the spine for Hull, it's matter of time before you're the scapegoat and I think Jamie's had his turn. I think fans have probably been over critical of his performances, which have by and large have been similar to those around him. That said, I think most coaches in the league would choose Walker above Shaul.
Walker can't even get in an average leeds side so doubt itThats not true now is it? Walker was the No.1 FB at Leeds up until his injury against Huddersfield in April, since his injury they resigned Hardaker and Walker has only just returned from injury and needs games, we needed some pace and bodies so it made sense to sign him on loan and there is obviously some issue with Shaul or he wouldn't be getting shipped out.
Shaul has been a great servant to the club but he just hasn't looked the player he was even since his injury, whether some of it is also down to having a new coach instead of Radford who knows but sadly its seems best for both parties to part ways. Its a sad way for Shauls time at Hull to come to an end but that's sport in some ways.
