When you look at the difference in the two sides that each club has out there I’m not surprised the game has got away. Injuries are a big concern for us to have so many
Disaster of a preseason in my book, would have thought we would have liked to get a bit of confidence in the ranks but comprehensively beaten in two games. Throw in the amount of injuries we have already and its hard to see where our tide is going to turn. D
Totally agree. On the back of a poor season, we needed a positive mood going into the new campaign, what we've got is the complete opposite.
As said, we were already missing 14, and have lost another 2 so far today. Why would additional games help with 10 of our first choice 17 out?
Lets be honest that 14 arent first teamers so lets not kid ourselves we are missing 14 first teamers. This team would have being good enough to beat a few teams lower leagues puts some confidence in the team and younger players too. To play a young team at Bradford was a waste.
I forsee a lot of pre-match drinking this season, starting in Wakefied a fortnight today, just to soften the pain. Wakefield are 11/8 underdogs to beat us first SL game. If I could ever bring myself to back against us I would be hammering them at the odds. I do hold onto hope I'll be proved wrong.
