not down hearted by Hull FC tonight...i thought the damage was done in first half....mentioning no names........turner and manu looked careless...so gnelte start trying players like pearce green lineham etc.

turner and manu can go to saints now for me. give nothing, cost us more.

crooks is a star for the future.....unlucky hull....bit more of killer edge and we will be reet

Re: Leeds v Hull Match thread : Fri Jul 06, 2012 10:06 pm
I know squad numbers don't tell the whole story, but they do give a certain amount of indication about who is and isn't first choice, so here are a few things to note about them: Only 9 of the 17 tonight had a squad number between 1 and 17, so almost half of the team was not first choice. Our average squad number tonight wasn't even between 1 and 17, it was 19. This was significantly influenced by 5 of tonight's squad having numbers over 25; at the start of the season these players were not even close to being in our plans.

I think what we really need now is for the season to end, as it seems quite clear that there are a few in our camp who are pretty much done for the year, and several who just aren't good enough and we need to replace them. I'm as fed up as any with the last few seasons of 'wait until next year', but at least this time I feel like the people running the club actually feel the same and want to put it right. The recruitment announcements need to show that faith is not misplaced.

Plenty of effort, but lacking leadership. Seymour disappointing, Yeaman poor, Turner even poorer.
Most one-eyed display of refereeing since the days of dear old Stan Wall.
[Have to say McGoldrick was our best player.] Well done to him.

That in itself is depressing, even if true.

Think Turner is already thinking what he will look like in a red and white shirt.

You really can't use average squad numbers as any kind of indication. What is the average of numbers 1 to 17 added together?

Hull F.C once again proves how poop we really are, clueless, utter clueless.

Take Gentle on.

Any improvement? no we've gone backwards IMHO. If we don't finish in the play offs this season I would get rid of Gentle, and bring potter in.

Yeah that would be right. Gentle inherits pap,is in the process of sorting it but lets not give him chance eh?
Even if we finish in the top eight we havn`t a cat in hells chance of reaching the final with this current set up.

Definatley annoying, but this season was always about transition. Sooner we all accept this the better.
