He earns the equivalent of over 400k per season on his current deal. I know we have cap space but I doubt were even close to that amount. I'm guessing he's currently the highest paid player in the sport. One report suggests he earns 1/5 of the Cowboy's salary cap.

Yer but he's earned more than that on a recent accumulator at stan james He'll come here for nowt now!!

if hull are looking for a prop and a scrum half in australia, doesnt it stand to reason some space would have to be made on the cap, even taking into consideration the recent departures.even dobson who was playing reserve level rugby cost 80grand a season to go to our neighbours(or so im led to believe), and a decent aussie prop wont come cheap.how much was cusack etc on?

Apparently Carl Webb is available for reasonable money (paramatta only offering 90k). Would be a quota spot on a prop though.

what im getting at is do you pay decent money(though granted not top £s) on a stand by player,or will he have a bigger role,ie not the reserve

Just checked and your absolutely correct. Great deal for Parra if they can get his form back. Small salary for a big player.
