We’ve all been sceptical about our recruitment as it’s so quiet but if we keep Savelio and managed to pull something like this out the bag we’d have great potential moving forward:

Tindall, Ashworth, Mcmeeken, Davies, Bentley, Quota prop, Quota Hooker, Quota backrow

We’d suddenly have a big aggressive mobile pack again and some serious pace.

I’d be shocked if Catalan are willing to let them go though

Cannot see either of McMeeken or Davies joining us but hope to be proved wrong.

Also not sure that the club would be giving sponsors updates on on contract negotiations.

I think they could. When negotiating sponsorship deals the club will want to sound as strong as possible. Giving insight into the players we are looking to sign is a way of showing our strong position. Although I think it would have to be more like "we have signed 'XXXXXX'" rather than just "we are hopeful of signing 'XXXXXX'"
Might be totally wrong with this. But any sponsor will want to know what is lined up in the future for the club, especially if making multi year sponsorship deals.

Would be a bit of a risk offloading McMeeken and bringing in Andre given his injury record .

Easier, cheaper and more accessible to drive home whenever rather than having to book a flight, mess about with airports and get to and from airport.

If McMeeken still has a house in Cas area then only a 40min drive at worst, Davies only 2-3hrs from Wigan and could easily go home on rest days etc.
No denying they’d be very good signings for us it it turns out they have signed be a real coup
