Will we get either McMeeken or Davies or both, only time will tell but I'd hope we would at least be in the mix for them. They are positions we are in need of and without taking a quota spot which increases their value somewhat with the current shortage of quality on the market.

It may well mean we would have to offer above any other clubs, whether or not AP & TS are prepared to do so if they feel it is worth it who knows. Alternatively you never know if they had already agreed deals with a club long a while ago and its just been kept quiet until Catalan wanted to announce they were leaving.

Mcmeeken would be a fantastic signing.Was very impressed with him on Saturday. Him and Ashworth plus an overseas Prop, hooker and Backrow along with Bentley and Tindall would be superb business.

In what way, Smith looks to have a clean slate, lots of the big earners OOC.

Seems odd with them both being under contract, but Catalans are being linked to a fair few new signing. Peachey, Savelio, Fages. Maybe they need to make some room?

Just been talking to the sponsor guy i know and he reckons the Bentley deal is a struggle as he wants add ons that we aren't willing to agree to but still in talks.
