Warrington would have to release players to get them in - we already have the room and should be on the phone immediately. If Catalan have made them available, I wouldn't be shocked to hear that the clubs spoke at the weekend about them. McMeeken did a Q&A on Total RL website - tried to see if some of the answers hinted at a return to living in England, but nothing stood out

Sounds like Dufty could be the next one to jump ship. Thewlis to fullback with Davies and Ashton on the wings. Mcmeeken to replace McGuire.

I'd like to think if their is a shot at landing either of them we're in the fight

Need to start winning these fights. More chance of Mcmeeken as he will probably have a house in the Cas area, where Davies is from the Wigan area.

I'd be delighted I'd we signed just one of them, we might have to overpay, to get them over the line.

Reading the Redvee forum, the person from Wigan who suggested that they had been made available, believes that they have both signed for the same club.

Saints fans being arrogant, saying they don't need McMeeken and he would be 4th choice prop.

I'll make a bold statement, I think we will get them. That is based on me hearing about McMeeken a few weeks ago

Signing the 2 of them, even just 1, would be huge signings. To fill 2 spots we need with such good players who don't take up a quota spot but be an unbelievable coup by the club.
I don't think either will happen just because I think we would have competition we couldn't compete against, but I really hope we could land just 1 of them (would prefer Davies of the 2).

You'd think if these players have upped sticks to move to the south of France, home sickness would be less of an issue and they'd be more willing to move to the hull area rather than having to sign for a club close to where their family home is (Josh Jones style)

Saints won't have the cap space, we have, we could make Mcmeeken our highest paid prop, they couldn't.

Feel if we was to get one of the two, I would prefer McMeeken, the perfect signing for us which makes it probably too good to be true it even helps open the opportunity of potentially using a quota spot on a winger.
