Indeed, we can make recruitment and develop as a club without putting the financial viability into question. L**ds tried many times in the past to buy success, and it didn't work, I'd be happy with a gradual development of the club back to the top of the game over 2 or 3 years, starting with a total revamp of the coaching setup and minor tweaks in the playing staff.

So would i but a bit of serviceable debt wouldnt hurt.

I hope so , but not sure who we could buy that would show signal of intent

Likewise. As long as we were making visible progress year on year I think most fans would be happy with that TBH.

Noble took Wigan from a relegation team to a semi final team.
That's on the field.
As for Wigan being financially healthier, then no! Although that wouldn't be his fault. Dave Whelan ran Wigan RL simply as a loss making venture in his then JJB empire. The season prior to Ian Lenangan buying the club Wigan lost a lot more than £700k. On a turnover of around £3.5m.
IL has changed the club for the better on and off the field.
Wigan are making a profit every year now and are SL champions.
Hull FC are making a profit but on the field are at times awful!
With the squad you have Pearson does have to change the coach to bring any kind of success. It is a better squad than some of you guys think it is!
IL got rid of Noble from Wigan and look what his successor has achieved!
Difficult decisions to be made at FC but Pearson does sound like the man to make them.
