He does possess some talent but its no good if he's getting sat for 10 mins in a game or missing a few due to bans that could/should be avoided for unnecessary stuff he does at times.
If TS does take him on board then I'm sure he does it not only because he thinks he can get the best out of him but that as a player he will improve the team/squad.
Its a physical,highly charged, emotional game and as the old saying goes a leopard cant change its spots.
I doubt Smith would be interested in this type of player.
If he did may as well give him as part of his contract a seat pass for the west stand.
I know Griffin has been a plonker but rather then make desperate signings given his form and workrate in the second row i would rather we gave Griffin a 1 year extension
