I agree but It's not going to happen. Hodgson only got the job as an assistant coach at Wests because he was a legend. He also coached Wests feeder team and had a poor record.

He also got the job at Hull because he worked with Shaul for a few weeks years ago and Pearson was impressed by him and he was an Aussie. Andy Last was probably on a fraction of his wage but did a better job.

There's no gamble giving Ellis a chance as we are not going to trouble the top of Super League. If we can afford to pay Hodgson off do it and give Ellis a chance. Nothing to lose short term.

It gives me no pleasure stating it but while we were terrible Rovers exploited our weakness's and should have put 30 points on us. Well played.

Hodgson was a coaching gamble and unfortuantely it's not paying off. He may yet turn things around but I can't say I'm confident of that.

I don't think we've appointed an experienced first team coach since Peter Sharp.

Agar, Gentle, Radford, Last, Hodgson all in their rookie job at the top level.

Gale, Reynolds and Evans not worked. Play some youth for passion and enthusiasm.

Fast losing interest in the game generally.

Evans was doing fine. Some nice carries and good shots in defence, I just can't understand why he is only getting 15 minutes each week, he doesn't particularly look unfit.

Sometimes it feels like they're playing hungover, mistimed passes, knock ons, kicking anywhere rather than looking what's on, not having someone at the play the ball etc

What else can you say? Rovers are top dogs in the city at the moment - that's the truth. And unless our big earners start justifying their wages it will remain so. Such is life, but nothing remains the same in the city for long, who knows what's coming next?
