Suspect you are right, there must be something about 'league and playoff games must be hosted at the KCOM' in the clubs favour though, the number of home league and playoff games has gone up and down with different SL structures but I dont recall the club being refused by the SMC to play a competitive game. The Allams would have held us to ransom about any 'extra' games by now if they could.

Well Adam is keen to get the crowds back in Stadiums but I can't honestly see that for months and if it does happen in say July I can see large swathes of fans staying away in fear anyway.

My dads a 70 year old east stand half way line season ticket holder and he is no longer going to games until a vaccine is found or until its completely safe to go

I dont understand his rush. Hes already been paid for 8000 season tickets and has previously said we dont make much from food and beverages anyway. We all want to get back watching live sport but is it realistic to think you can have a gathering of 10000 people before its deemed safe to go and get your hair cut?

I can't see fans returning for a long time. It's alright for people to say it won't bother them going to matches, they're not the one's to worry about, it's all the people they regularly come into contact with that are being put at risk.

I haven't missed a home game I could have gone to since 1959, so tricky times ahead.

I know some say and think that Adam is being selfish and greedy, but I believe he is very concerned about the sport for all the clubs.
We might be able to struggle through this season, and perhaps there would be a handfull of other clubs, but many could fall and that would be no good for the sport.
What good is it if only half of the clubs are left standing?

I still think there'd be some mileage in a virtual matchday shop if games are behind closed doors where you could buy a virtual drink, snack, car park etc and the club gets the money.

If the Allams are still in charge of the SMC when our lease is up for renewal, do we think AP will renew it, or look for our own community stadium?

Don’t think they’d bat an eyelid if they put us out of business in these current times.

Scarily it isnt that far away, we've been there 17 years and it is a 25 year lease. Even if by some form of miracle we found money for a ground you'd need 3 years to plan and build one, so we're only about 5 years from that point.

Can only hope theyve gone by then, bizarely their cost cutting may mean City are a better investment than other football clubs now.

People seem to forgetbthe KCOM is a community stadium, the SMC got a 50 year lease, I doubt very much they could just "kick us out".
