Absolutely dreadful performance, schooled by a workmanlike Salford, we looked like the worst team in the league, breathtakingly out enthused, out thought, the game has changed since we were last marmalised by the Wire, and our style needed changing even then, but now on this showing, with the game even quicker, there are a lot of big name players who need to seriously up their game. Apart from Savelio and Carlos, a totally abject performance from a team assembled on promise, and now after that show, cannot be trusted.
I’ll not judge Last on one fxxxxxg crap game, but it has been said before, a top coach will become priority number one, sooner rather than later, should this garbage resurface.
I really would like to see a disciplined performance and DEFENCE at the forefront of our play. I was so glad to hear LAsty talk about the D
Defence is the barometer of any team. Always has been and always will be. Ask any NFL team. Similar concepts of the game.
Hey Isaiah ? Still laughing ?
I think there isn’t a poster on here who wouldn’t agree with my post
Defence is everything !!!
It was this ridiculous line that made me laugh.

It will take a long time to step out of Radford's amateurish ill-disciplined shadow. He should have been fired in 2015 after those shocking first 2 seasons
I find it hard to believe that many on here would agree with you. We have a few but we don't have that many village idiots

I actually do think we should have fired LR after his first 2 seasons. He was Garbage. With a decent coach we would have still won the CCs and made the GF at least once
I’m also glad Scott Taylor said Salford was the ideal first game
Worst than any performance under Radford for me, just about full strength team with time to prepare and that what they produce, I know it's only one game, but the style was no different to Radfords, the set before the interception try, right on there line, 4 tackle, Kelly runs and gives an inside ball to Bowden, dreadful and nothing will change.
We need someone brought in from the outside to shake things up, even if its Danny Ward or James Ford, someone not afraid to change the style or drop the consistent underperformaning players.
If Last has any balls, he will drop both wingers, Sneyd, Bowden and Houghton to start with.

He wont drop Houghton, they are mates!
Has LR ever apologised for how immobile, uncreative and lacking ideas he made us? No relegation means no ambition. Salford deserved the win, and we saw that nothing has changed.

Glad you mentioned that drop off to Bowden, it seemed to be our go to play on every set. It defined us yesterday, utterly abysmal. Agree about looking elsewhere for a coach, if we genuinely can't afford to bring in a top class experienced one then we need to look at those with something different, young and ambitious. Danny Ward as you mentioned would be my choice.
https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/s ... eth-ellis- Ellis is correct in his Yorkshire Post analysis of gutless bottlers. Errors are what they are but we have consistent players in this department and they don’t improve. Fonua is a prime example, far too many errors, always was and for that matter I would not have taken him back. Shaul epitomises bottling it; his head quickly goes and he either can’t be arsed or he begins to make defensive errors. Sneed on too many occasions goes missing and too many times offers very little. Four out of five games are poor then he plays sublimely and we are supposed to be grateful. And Houghton for all his talk of being tired and now finding his fire well that was a damp squib. Our pivots were and remain poor, indifferent wasters. No leadership, no go forward, clueless, guile’s, gutless no hopers. Although it pixxed me off Pearson must be gutted seeing his money being frittered away.
