Most definitely he was - under the posts as it happens.

Top effort from the lads I could tell as the second half progressed that we were not going to be on top in the ruck area due to the way it was policed. Conditions leveled it a bit for them. Onwards and upwards far from a disaster.

So frustrating seeing Warrington lost to Hudds as well. Tight at both ends of the table now.

Should be a good game next week, we've rested some (not all) of our top performers tonight against Sheffield so next week will be really interesting.

Indeed. If you'd said that we'd be 2 points off top at the halfway point I'd have snapped your hand off.

Disappointed to lose, tried playing fancy summer rugby in the opening 20. Leeds played the conditions smarter and the ref. Dry weather I think we would've won. Rain was a leveller. Penalty right on half time the match breaker
