According to the HDM hull had not made an approach for Sammut so how can they make a 2nd approach without a 1st approach, I can't see crusaders selling he is they're best player by far, although it does depend on whether they want the money more.

The chief exec at crusaders will look pretty stupid if they do sell him to us.

Looks to me that we have turned his head, you can't blame him for wanting to come to us from them for so many reasons.

If he wants to leave he will, players have the power these days, look at Matt Orford.

Sammet would be a good signing as he can cover many positions, halfback, FB and hooker, all of which we need at least cover for, not an organsing halfback but someone who can create things out of nothing,

Must be really keen to bring him in. Maybe upping the offer might sway them, but it certainly wouldn't say much about their board!

To be fair I wouldn't class Long as an "organising halfback" either, in fact Sammut reminds me of a young Longy, just has that spark about him and can do something special, that said would be pointless in signing him in my opinion if he only wants to stay a year, if we could get him long term would be a top signing.

Don't think he is their best player, think that award goes to Schifkofski.(sp)
