Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
On a interesting side note Willie Mason was accused of having a hand in a Sydney Roosters betting scandal for their last game of 2009.
Mason denied all involvement on the matty johns show.
In no way am I suggesting he is one of the players implicated but does anyone actually know if he definitely played in the Cowboys v Bulldogs game that they are looking at?

"Reds’ coach, Shaun McRae, flatly refused to identify the potential target, such was his caution surrounding ongoing talks.
McRae wants to bring in at least one more utility player. Lee Briers's name has been bandied about – the Warrington skipper is on a rolling 12-month contract.
Kevin Sinfield, the Leeds skipper, is an Oldham lad who has many admirers at the Willows.
Leon Pryce and Sean Long have also been the target of transfer speculation."
Sorry if this is old news, but have I missed Long being the target of transfer speculation?
Lee Briers eh, well if tonights rumours are true, he wont be going there

But I thought he is all set to rip super league a new ar$e hole?
He's quite young for a 5/8th/half and hasn't reached his full potential yet but he hadn't hit the expected heights in the nrl, hence Canterbury letting leave one in into a two year contract.

I'm quite enjoying the Salfor rumours in their board at the moment it's like ours 5 years ago, been linked with players they have no chance of signing.
I can't believe that there are some Salford fans who think they have a chance of signign him, if available (which I doubt he ever will be while still in his prime) every top side would be after him, why would he go to Salford?
If Briers is available (again which I doubt) I would 100% try and sign him, much better and fitter than any of our halfbacks.
