Ellam hasn't confirmed it, just saying that criticising the signing when he hasn't played for us yet (2nd time around), isn't warranted

Pretty sure they mentioned it a fair few pages back. Said we were in for Connor Watson too. Unless I've completely imagined it

Like others have said, was hoping we would be looking to bring in a forward with losing Taylor but in TS we trust.

If you read, you would see myself and a few others aren't massively happy with it, unlike Rovers fans who make out every signing is the greatest ever, a bit like Kennedy.

This is also a long term signing to replace Swift, not one to cover a one week injury.

You really don't have any points here, just because the club does something doesn't mean that's represents the fans views, if I was heralding this signing, it would be different.

Not at all the same, if we sign a average player to replace Griffin on loan then I agree.

If you want to come on debate like MR, then fair enough, otherwise you join two faced Keith, posting that no one can see.

If you read up a few posts, I’ve already said I’m very sceptical about the Hiku signing. Kennedy is awful as well, our very own Kane Evans.

The point is you was criticising rovers for signing more experienced loan players and not play youth, only for Hull to do it the next day but fully signed. Plus Lynne will be 31 by next season starts, and he’s crap. Zenon really seems to be a decent player, Yaha also better than all but 1 of our wingers at the club. Hopefully the loans will help us sign fully in the future. Hull really are the gift that keeps on giving at the minute.

Is that the Fandom page?
I think that page is run by a college student, or someone of that age.

See how it plays out.

If he signs fair enough I'll back him, but can't help feeling its an odd one

Did anyone else notice in the hdm article about swift leaving Tony smith said something along the lines of we are grateful for all the efforts he puts in now and for however long he is with us .if that’s til the end of the year I know he will put every effort in

That's better, but still totally different signing a player on a long term deal than signing a player for one game, it isn't about the ability, it's about the fact that Rovers seem to get a player injured and sign a player on loan.

I don't mind Hull signing players with a long term goal, don't want us signing short term players anymore.

This week is a good example, 4 players out, gives Litten amd Brown another game.

The thing is, loans often end up longer than expected, and in many cases end up signing fully after it. All 3 french players (if we end up signing Chan) would be eligible to play in our semi as well. As long as the quality of loan players are better than the ones we currently have - which they are - it’s smart business for our hopes this year.

Litten looks a good prospect, and I’d be very confident we wouldn’t have loaned if we had him to play at full back. The thing is, PLT isn’t that great and Peters knows it. Playing Jack Brown is similar to us playing Storton (age wise), just Storton didn’t come through our academy.
