I think, for me, it's not losing I struggle with, it's the way in which we lose.
If he states he is here to shift a culture then he is admitting failure.
With the squad we have we are going to lose many more games than we win. As you state however unpalatable losing is as long as there is effort and improvement I would accept that.
Under Smiths tenure we are getting neither.
