The funniest part is we “are” spending 2.35 million on the squad. Well if we are then that in itself is an absolute travesty.

He seemed to say both 20% and 25% of 'key players' on the cap not playing when asked about Carlos and Trueman, so that's £500k between the two of them, and maybe £250k for Carlos to be limping about!

Well lets hope the new DOR is more financially astute with salary negotiations.

I guess that Hoy was vastly overpaid for one.

Carlos is allegedly on a very decent wage, 140k+ which on a four year deal for someone who was already starting to pick up injuries is crazy. Hopefully the DOR can get on top of things.

I cannot see how anybody with no connection with Hull is going to invest significant funds in to the club with the prospect of little or no return. Disappointed.

I mean id question any fans sanity if they think this is a quick fix.

The only thing that can be hoped for is "jam tomorrow" I think alot of people got excited in the past 24 hours and was expecting a billionaire to come through the door....

Things take time but a director who will take care of Rugby related stuff is only a good sign because since we lost Motu we jave got worse and worse.

He also said 20/25% of our cap sat on the sidelines in Carlos and Truey so at “2.35 million”, that’s £470,000k on just them two players. I think someone is telling porkies somewhere.

But can we trust Pearson to make the right appointments?

So far he's hired McRae, Gentle, Motu, Radford, Hodgson, Smith. Personally I'd only say Motu an outright success in his role, Radford of course won 2 cups but there were average to poor seasons surrounding that.
