Whoever gets the gig i think it's a really important part of the game these days. With games seemingly being a closer run thing on a more regular basis then kicking could make a big difference. Having recently read John Kear's book he said that he got a union kicker in to help Brough and Cooke with their place kicking. Those two weren't bad at all so i hope the coaching staff would look to go down that route as it's an area that union seems to surpass us in.

I watched the 2005 Final yesterday and couldnt believe how good our place kicking was. Each one went into open space from Cooke, Brough and even Horne!
