I'd prefer Watson too but not sure if SGI were in for him. Thought I saw his name linked when they announced Flanagan

Just read the article is was the newspaper suggested players he could sign, saying that think Watson is good enough for the NRL and will probably get a deal, the salary cap could be the stickling point for NRL clubs, he knows a few Newcastle boys including Clifford, so that might help us get hi, but don't see that happening.

Ah fair enough. I remember reading it in the early hours.

He's coming off a nasty knee injury too. He'd be a great pick up but like you say, we'll have some competition from the NRL
