It’s a shame he got injured so early on in the season so we couldn’t see what he’s capable of. Hopefully he can find a new club for next season and get some game time

Wow - who's top level recruitment was that ? should have spent the money and time on LOCAL youth

Green commenting in the HDM that he is surprised and disappointed that the club never offered him a new deal. Radford at first wanted to keep him according to Green.

He actually said LR was reluctant to allow Green to join Wakefield on loan for the rest of the season.

I would also have kept him but i guess the club have to make hard decisions to balance the books.
Its only a loan and maybe the club could have second thoughts before the season end.
We are still a big prop missing in the squad for next year unless we are looking to bring in someone from the lower leagues as cover.
like what Brown offers for a smaller front row but dont get the hype with Fash.
I think Bienek has had enough time to at least make some in roads into the 19 this season but his form out on loan cant have been that good as at times we have been really light on the bench. If his salary is above average then i can see him being released as well as Dawson.

Good decision to release Green, smack bang average, not a top 4 super league player

As a fourth maybe even fifth choice prop for Hull, I’d say Green is pretty good. Can’t expect to have quality everywhere.
He wouldn’t have took much room up on the cap. The main concern was his injury worries.

But he wasnt really good, hence why hes been let go were trying to move to the next level and win a grand final, better quality needed
