Disappointed with the loss. If the ball bounces nicely for Dwyer or the ref sends the Griffin decision up as a try things might have been different.

We defended much better for longer though, we need to match those levels every game. Thought we'd struggle more when Saints rotated their props but we went ok.

Can't knock anyone's effort this game. Hoy, Clifford, Griffin, Andre, Fash all had great games.

Keep Litten on the wing. Saints targeted him pretty much all game, he jammed in a few times but he had a solid game.

Ligi tried to overplay in the first half with a few offloads but he got through a load of work.

Satae seemed quiet. Maybe bring him off the bench and start Taylor.

McNamara comes in for Lovodua if fit against Leigh.

Hopefully the Swift injury isn't too serious, but can see him missing the Leigh game.

You don't need to international class to be a good SL players, there are lots of examples. Lee Briers, Paul Cooke etc

Houghton is nowhere near their level

Cooke had Sculthorpe farrell sinfield infront of him all his career

Briers had long martyn mcguire pryce burrow infront of him

Houghton apart from roby alot of hookers have played Hodgson clark mcshane mcilorum

Alot of people don't rate mcilorum but he's better than Houghton no doubt

Come on dwyer should of scored that 100 out 100 times

He'll have been the first to apologise to team mates after and the team mates know he should scored

But positive signs definitely and we move on to leigh

But some of the excuses why he didn't score are just laughable really

But not as laughable as some of the rubbish you peddle on here.

Huge contrast to last Saturday, a much better performance, on another day Dwyer takes that ball and we win the game, it’s proof that the effort can be produced, it’s just needs to be consistent and we will be okay.

My one issue is that our attack does feel rather clunky, I’m excited to see how Trueman will do there once fit. For time being I’d have McNamara back in the halves for Leigh, which I’d now consider a must win.

Didn't get home til just after 1 last night, so first chance to post

Cant fault effort and commitment, bounce of the ball didn't go our way last night, luck wasn't on our side, (even though they say you make your own luck), Griffs' no try will go up as a try and be given in another game, time for the RFL/SL to abolish that stupid guessing game that the refs have to do, if a ref cant see it, hand it to the video ref to decide! Also am i the only one who thinks Saints should have been down to 12 in the last 7 or 8 minutes after the late hit on an FC player, replays on the big screen clearly shows the Saints player leading with the shoulder on the point of impact.

Onto Leigh, now the team has got to back it up next week as Leigh look no mugs this season

Much much better performance defensively , Wasn't bothered by the result as it was about how we responded as a team from the nightmare last week .
A bit of luck last night and we could have had the points but plenty to take away from that game .

As expected, clueless, how many times did Tommy Martyn play for England.

If you followed Rugby League last 20 years, you would know halfback has been a real issue, whilst hooker has been a strength.
