I was basing it on Kris Radlinski's blog who said that Wigans Conditioners knocked them on the head for the reasons I gave. Wigan won the Challenge Cup final and Grand Final. Huddersfield blew up in the play offs.
Terrible performance 1st half. Watts, Thompson and Westerman the 3 standouts with dreadful 15-20 mins. Bowden and Whiting the only 1st teamer that looked interested. Didnt look good for Green who came out on crutches and a boot.
2nd half felt sorry for the youngsters who got chucked in at the deep end by Radford who has got so much wrong this pre season. Who takes a squad of 25+ players without a hooker, crazy. Im ready for the " geling as a team" excuses from Radford in the early rounds of SL, thats why you have pre season trial games

Moore Fevs 7 looked really good. The best player on the pitch by far.
Hull FC had an option on Moore 3 month ago..............but he didnt have an aussie accent and was only going to cost an average wage.........went for Rankin instead on 4 times the cost

Just got back in myself and I'm disappointed for RW more than anything else. I expected more first choice players to be playing and to play the game with no recognised hooker was just plain daft.

I'm glad I went and supported the Whiting testimonial but apart from that I'm left massively disappointed. I just don't get the point of playing these games if they're not to be used for honing the play of the first team - at least part of the game.

Agreed.
I am pretty disgusted on reflection.
Long hard season ahead, and we will be very challenged to make the 8 IMO.

Mate your team destroyed FC off the park. No excuses. Anyone who watches a game knows Fc are either not trying or abysmal. I'll go with the latter.

What is Hull's fascination with army camps? The whole idea of pre-season is to refresh the body, make it bigger, stronger and faster. To do this you need plenty of the right foods and plenty of rest/sleep as well as the correct training.
The whole concept of these army camps is based around depriving the body of food and sleep. It is totally self-defeating for a Super League club to be embarking on one in pre-season.

Team bonding, character building, rallying around others when mates are down, pushing your body to the limits when hungry & tired. Works for some of the toughest people in the world, but you seem to know its not right for pro sportsmen.

Thank you,the day was all about richard whiting and to lay down like they did is a shambles. He is one player you can guarantee will give his best, every game and for me radford has disrespected him and the supporters who went to give him their support. A disgrace, but of course most of you wont accept it because the post came from me.The truth sometimes is hard to bear.

Do you ever post on the kr board ? I preferred you when you was a ship

born in airlie str,1939.german landmine that fell on boulevard, also blew up half of our house.thats why i dont like germans.not because they blew our house and boulevard up,but because the gerry pillock was aiming for craven park.

Re: vs Featherstone - Whiting Testimonial : Sun Feb 02, 2014 8:23 pm
i do believe, that when radford was appointed as coach,he said something about players who in his opinion, are not trying, will not be getting picked for the first team, so what happens now?i listened to the game on my laptop, because it`s too difficult to get to featherstone from edinburgh at anytime.i have my season pass for this year and i sincerely hope we play better in the league this year,or next year i will just pick the matches i want to see.

some fans on here are simply burying their heads in the sand....some are being honest. in that first half there were enough first team players on the field to be too good for Fev, but they were totally dominated in the pack and the halves. Moore controlled the game and those two half backs you have are going to be a major concern for your club this season......miller was dire last season and that rankin is no different......

We needed an experienced coach not throw someone in the deep end just because he has a Hull accent and a front tooth missing.
Poor recruitment (paea aside).
Luckily london, bradford and wakey are in a mess otherwise we'd be in a relegation battle.
