Not read the thread, but Calderwood could be the biggest waste of a signing I have seen if things carry on (but then again, I only started going to rugby all the time in 2002). I have not once seen him used properly in the games so far. It's early days so hopefully things will change

Nail hammer thwack.

But to some its his fault he doesn't get the ball

He hasn’t performed particularly well so far (we are only four games into the season FFS), but the same could have been said about other recent wingers – at least Calderwood is probably earning a hell of a lot less and not tying up a quota spot.

He hasn't seen the ball FFS. He hasn't cost us anything in defence. He has not performed badly.

Why Raynors not much better under the high ball!
Regardless of Raynor coming back or not, Calderwood won't be dropped for Gaz. :STUPID:

And how many tries has that cost us? Compared to, say, the opposite wing?

Indeed. From what I've seen Briscoe is just as iffy under the high ball at present but nobody is getting on him back.

Briscoe couldn't get into Wigans Team because of Radlinski even though Radlinski was playing crap at the time still better than old bent nose.

I'd say he's much more iffy, plus he's worse positionally in defence. He'll always have a much greater impact in attack though, due to how we play/our wingers are used.

And yet people still expect Calderwood to be dropped. If you watch most games on Sky you will see wingers all over the comp being put under pressure by great kicking games, our wingers are no worse or better than any other teams imho

True.

Let's see how he goes on the drier pitches and how he attacks when we stop squeezing him into the corner before we pass to him.

But, but, he's the best young prospect since Shaun Edwards. I said it the other day, but I really fear we've got another good one we'll build up and tear apart if we're not careful.
