It is in place because that is what the COUNCIL agreed when it gave the KC the licence, it is SENSIBLE because you CANNOT drink beer in view of the pitch at FOOTBALL matches, and idiots that get bevvied up already cause enough trouble when the smoking ban first came in, expecting them to differentiate between football and RL is a step too far.
The beer is garbage anyway.
Which is fair enough. I dont see it been a problem for any other club though!
Anyway, I know the majority are 'sheep followers' on here and as a result will obviously go against everything I say which is fair enough.
Yes I can go an entire match without a beer, I drive most of the time anyway so I can only sqeeze the odd one in when I occassionally feel like drinking a beer. And yes my email statement wasn't exactly supposed to be serious, otherwise I would have summed it up a lot clearer and with a more mature manner, but that wasn't my point.
My point is, I would like to be able to drink a beer whilst watching a game of rugby league on the terraces. Is it really asking for too much?
Ive seen 1,000's of our fans filling up their stomachs with ale at Leeds, Wigan, Bradford, Huddersfield, etc so I know they are many who, technically should agree with me.
More then anything, I just want to know why the ban is in place anyway!
Tar.
So you now agree that everything you wrote in that statement wasn't '100% fact'?
Since this thread also contains a discussion about the relative merits of sitting and standing, it wasn't 100% clear, no.
Ok then well whatever. I was talking about the KC Stadium seating, the Stadium we've been in for 5 years. (I do not know the exact amount of years, months, weeks, days, minutes, seconds and milli-seconds we've been at the Stadium because I honestly dont know - however I bet some smart ass could work it out! )

Is this guy really what we want in a captain? Negative , regressive ,small minded. Surely a captain should be looking forward and seeing the future as something to meet with improvement. His body language last season was poor and now he's added to that with actual language which to me helps no one. We've got a fantastic facility at the KC and it's the players on the pitch that will create atmosphere and fill it by putting in consistently passionate , attractive and winning performances. Just a look at the attendances since the move shows what it's done for us. I only hope he's been misquoted or quoted out of context.
