Noticed some chat about Messageboard usage generally and what levels it's at vs other social media. Mods - interested in number of users and post reads on this board, say in January so far. Any stats? Guess it's diminished over time a bit with the rise of Twitter?

Facebook is killing many message boards. Im a member of a number of car boards that used to be really busy, now theyre dead yet theyre FB pages are mentally busy

I don't really use Facebook much now, prefer Twitter. I like keeping in touch with people but less interested in 20 photos their kids at the zoo for example.

Are there any good FC Facebook pages?

Nope. One FC/KR banter page that's just like school most of the time and a rarely used fan page.

I see every single day this week there has been a bit on Calendar plugging the RU world cup, even a piece at Bishop Burton with Mike Umanga.

All because "2 games will be held in the region"


Did the RL world cup get the same publicity?
