He's been mostly slated for his opinion on here. As for losing his cool he did mildly do so and I suspect, as I said, he regrets it.

I found it amusing and suspect that he's waved the red rag for future debates. I think people will now see him as a good wind up target. If Mrs B had reeled off a list of names of players he'd failed to improve and was able to quote the his comments after Sharps sacking it'd have been interesting. I think he'd have really lost it.

has anyone contacted him on twitter with a list of players who didn't improve under agar? Presume tehre won't be enough characters available for all of them

I did. I also mentioned Agar not giving youth a chance and assumed that he and Agar had a special friendship which was clouding his, usually competent, views of the situation . He responded to the youth with "if they're good enough they'll get a chance", the Agar comment with "you must know something I don't as I aren't friends with Rich Agar" and "thanks for your views on my job, be sure to let me know what you do so I can give you my opinion on that. To which I replied with my occupation and I asked him why he didn't comment on the players who I suggested hadn't improved... he didn't respond to that.

I would have generally but I felt he was overly aggressive towards the caller and came across as a complete dick.
