If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

Maybe. I still dont think i've seen a decent expansive game of rugby though. Imagine how good we'd be if the backs actually did see good ball? :)

Still a 'works in progress' IMO especially with Horne and Long only playing 3 games together so far. We have actually scored some decent tries this year and the role Tansey plays is getting better by the week.

I can understand the argument that if you get your forwards right first then you have a better platform to progress.

Do you not think the try we keep scoring with Tansey wrapping round will become predictable at some point? It's the same move every time.

Don't they say that the best backs and half backs can't do anything if they are playing behind a beaten pack?

They do. My arguement in Hulls case though would be that we haven't been beaten in the pack all that often and still havent really turned the style on.

Its the dummy runners that make the move so I guess every so often you give the ball to Yeaman or Hall and keep the defenders guessing.

Tansey does more then just appear on the left TBF he almost created a try for the winger on the right in the Derby with his kick to the corner.

Tansey is a great player and gives us very good attacking options from full back. I'm looking forward to Horne and Long spending some game time together and see what they can do then in the backs. Out of the pivots of Tansey, Long, Horne and Berro there's probably only Tansey that has performed well. Horne had a good couple of games and looked to be back to his best before injury but Long and Berro have been largely disappointing imo.

This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. Neil is Cabbageman. Ever alert for the call no injury too small!

Tansey is starting to stand out I can see a rep call up this season.

 can't be arsed.

No backs have ever done well without a credible forward platform. We need to do better attack wise but have improved this season. As mentioned above if our two first choice halves were fit and played together a few times it would help. WIP is a good description.

The games we have lost this year have been mostly down to below par defence IMO. With the pack we've got I would argue those defensive slip ups should be the biggest criticism of the team to date.

I dont disagree. Is the reason therefore Agar's poor rotation of players? Still expects to use Tickle, Manu and Fitz for large chunks of the game and doesnt play Moa enough.

Interesting on the superleague stats site to see that both Cusack and Dowes have missed loads of tackles each. Is there a problem there with their technique down the middle? (Radford, O'Meley and Moa are pretty good. Moa hasnt made a single error yet)

All good points. I think he should have moved the props around from round 1 and said as much. As for Moa if he doesn't make the 17 this weekend Agar will be blatantly wrong in his selection by not selecting players relative to their level of form.
