I'm more optimistic then pessimistic with the squad build.

I feel with the additions, retentions and exits that it's starting to look challenging; assuming luck with injuries. But every fan of every SL club convinces themselves the same.

I like the spine of the team. Hoy, Connor and Yrueman. As good as any 1, 6 and 7 in SL.

The pack is lacking in depth. Statistically speaking you are always carrying injuries in the pack, so loss of Sao, Satae or Savelio is felt. We need a signature pack addition.


We absolutely need a 9. I'm happy to retain Houghton for a year, as long as he is the one that spells the starting 9.

Seen enough of DB in Hookem in lower-string to know they are better starting options in the absence of a new addition.

P.S Sutcliffe, for me, is a quality signing. Drip his utility value and focus him a centre.

Club prioritising a forward next, guess its someone to replace Manu in the 2nd row.

Walker deal put on ice apparently, until the mystery forward is sorted.

Maybe this kills my Longstaff dream too

I just asked for a link to show where Connor states that he doesn't really want to stay and admits that he can't see himself winning trophies at Hull.

Said the other week in here about Balmforth's fitness, but he's got massive potential and with a good pre season he will be sharing hooking duties with Danny next sesason, think it will be Mints and Tag's last season next year with another year in Laidlaw, Brown and I'd like to see us get another prop in ready for when Tag goes.

I also don't see where Lover fits in if he isn't hooking as I'd rather see Ligi 13. Lover waste of an overseas spot IMO
