I can't see us beating Wigan, we will lose to KR at Magic and Leeds will pulverise us the following week. We should beat London and will lose in France. We have a chance of winning at Widnes and Wakey. At the most we will get 6 points out of a possible 14 and will be on 16 out of 36 for the season. I suspect by the time of our next home game against Wire on 4 July the walk up support will have evaporated and quite a few passholders won't bother either. As soon as it starts hitting Pearson in his pocket I think he will act.
If Radford can do better than this in the next 7 games then he is a better coach than I believe him to be.
I was sure I heard his name called out as one of the subs..(cos then we'd have had 5) okay..I'll backtrack..I was completely wrong on that..Tuson was still underused and we really needed Carvs or Watts in there in any case.
tuson picked up a hamstring injury according to radford!
like others, wanted the miller and rankin partnership to workout but it hasn't, the forwards did the work but the halves didn't! horne will be first name on the sheet from now on, unless injured
as for Pearson, he needs to make the clubs number 1 priority a number 7! put all other transfer talk on hold and be prepared to spend!
Lets get real here. we lay in 7th place, which looking at the teams above us, is about where we deserve to be. Maybe even a place or so down in 9th or 10th. Those teams above us are better sides then we are, so deserve to be above us.
The "Culture" people keep referring to is more with the fans I think. A lot still believe we are a top 4 side(or should be challenging that). Obviously we'd like to be, but we are a long way from that. We need to realise we are a top 8 team. Make the 8 and do whatever we can in play-offs. Now don't get me wrong, for me, the club and supporters, that is not good enough obviously, but that is what we are, a top 8 club.
To finish 6th would be an achievement I believe, because we are just not that good.
To change our fortunes, we need to get a top class coach, not a 2nd in command and put him in charge. Allow him to build his side, give him time to build his structure etc.
For too many seasons we have had new coach, shipped 8-10 players out and brought 8-10 new players in, only giving them a season and a bit to get it right then same happens again. We need to stop chopping and changing ever season, get a long term plan get it started and stick with it! Look a Leeds for example, may be 1 out 2 in if you're lucky, every season.
There is no quick fixes in a sport like this. So we need to either sack Radders and find someone qualified for the job or stick with him and give him time. (although after his admission of not knowing how to fix things and blkaming the fans, I go with the first option.)

Rant Over
you have just summed it up, acceptance of mediocrity and no ambition.

I don't accept it, I think and want us to be better, the best in the league, to be winning trophies year on year, but we aren't. Not even close, we need to play the long game, get it right in the long term and accept things may not work how we want it to short term.
We never kicked on when we went to OT, we have slowly gone down. We need to accept we aren't a big club now, but build long term to be a big club in the future. But until we accept we're not one of the big sides, we will constantly chop and change coach and players.

No they never.
Far too slow to get up and play the ball giving the halves and backs no room whatsoever to do anything.

Then they started falling off tackles.
Agree, Wakey put a bit of BIFF in across the team, FC couldn't handle it Ellis, Paea, Tuson, Crooks, Yeaman and finally Crookes all retaliated. At 10-0, I said "We're getting bullied with no protection for Miller, every kick, he's getting charged down". At least one penalty was awarded for a late challenge on him. Radford quite rightly said the problem was enthusiasm, and FC bottled the biff. Just a good old fashioned game of Rugby League, we need to man up. I've stated my views regards halves and coach and they remain the same. Get off the merry go round, stop believing we're sleeping giants. We are and have been an average rugby league team with occassional periods of success.

Bad enough trying to blame the fans (my thoughts on that are documented elsewhere) but admitting that he doesn't know how to fix things is terrible. The more I think about it, the more I feel he is out of his depth.
