Whilst Hull were pretty abysmal, there appears little credit to the fact we didnt give you much of a sniff in 80 mins - even the first 13 (which appears to be a virtual first 13 that will start against catalans in a few weeks) had only 1 opportunity in the first half right on the hooter which they took, other than that they created little, the second half you would still be trying to score as i type it was that bad

It was flowing, inventive and expansive rugby at times from us - a performance we can take much delight in producing

Radford obviously thought this squad was good enough to make a decent fist of it, even win - how wrong he was

Both teams head off in different directions now one team confidence sky high, another no doubt being flogged in training this week

loads of minutes for the future FC stars today, tbh BTW does not look out of place hes impressed me, think he needs a bit more bulk on him & he will be ready for regular game time, sat in the stand near that drum today!!! #annoying.

Exactly my point, I feel we have several players in our squad who lack to attitude and professionalism to play consistently well and move from being mid-low end SL players and turn in to top players.

Westerman was tipped to be a future captain and international when he burst on to the scene at Cas, 6 or so years on we have an average SL player who occasionally puts in a top performance, but nothing more than that.

Radford was giving them time off with their family before Catalans. Unless today's changed his mind.

I've said it before but Hull will be lucky if 3 players make it to SL standard in the current crop of youngsters.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Not disputing what you're saying, apart from 6/7 forwards who were missing today.

A lot of them lads are 17 & fev players knew this, with the experience they have didnt expect anything else, dont blame Radders for not playing anymore senior players after 3 going off injured, other then Whiting making money today was meaningless. imho

I was impressed by Fev, their halves particularly were good although it was no where near a full strength team in the first half they comfortably bettered us. I had to laugh in the second half, I was sat near the drum and some of the chanting was like you were beating our first team in the last 8 of the cup when in fact we had out academy out. I'm not sure what the point of the second half was for Hull to play their academy against a very good championship side.
