Hull have always kept quiet on signings and released them at appropriate times. I am sure some have being tied up but not announced. Would give Houghton, Taylor, Griffin extensions and extend Macnamara as a back up half but I think he will make an excellent hooker Defence - Brilliant, Passing - very good`Brain - excellent Speed (for half) - not brill. Watched him quite a bit in reserves over last couple of years and said it then. Oh and I forgot decent goal & field kicker

said many times McNamara will end up in the Championship playing nine

They have released a fighting statement, will ne intresting to see what happens, lot of money and fuss over a player who has had half a good season, seems a poor thing to do to Salford, after they gave him a chance to play SL again.

Just think that's hot air from Salford. They need money and Rovers are offering a fair whack, in RL terms. No point in Salford keeping an unhappy player.

I wouldn't spend big on an outside back, but if we lose Swift I dont think Tindall covers his loss. I'd see him battling it out with Litten for the other wing spot.

You said Tindall doesnt make many metres coming out of backplay but neither does Litten as they are both a bit lightweight.
Think we have a serious problem on the wings next season if Swift moves on.
If we are to have a lightweight wing then they must have serious pace to compensate like Ashton at Warrington.
Dont see Litten as a first choice wing

Which is why I said I hope Tindall isn't a replacement for Swift....

We need a replacement for Swift, with Litten and Tindall battling it iut for the other wing spot

If I'm honest that's not the sort of player you would want attitude wise if he has already handed in a transfer request for a release this season, rather than see out the season with the club he has a contract with, especially when Salford are doing more than OK and gave him his chance. It would seem his head has been turned by an offer from another club which is fine but not mid way through a season when Salford are still very much in the mix, its not like he's at Wakey.

Salford are on the verge of going pop, who in the right mind would want to have their long term future at the club? Rovers have been more than fair in offering a big transfer fee. Pulling power and cash to wipe our back sides with.

Really hope this is the case, because if the names being banded about on here are some of our actual targets then God help us.

You know nowt about the club fella so you can quote "hot air" all you like.

King, Blease & Rowley won't give Dupree away. Why should we? He's under contract until 2025 and we're sick of being f*cked over by "bigger" clubs. You want our players then it's on our terms.

Extremely poor from Dupree but his agent is Iestyn Harris so would expect nothing less from that c*ckwomble.

I'd have Litten on the wing for the rest of the season when he's back. Hopefully he'll be our first choice full back when Hoy goes
