But our "main" hooker Houghton isn't close to top super league 9s even now Let alone all time Roby Clark Powell Mcilorum Mcshane Parcell Ackers Yet we some of our fans still see him as God cause of tackle 52 Madness Only when he leaves will fans see how average he was in the grand schemes
You are weird, no one mentioned Houghton and you just start a rant about him, talk about obsessed, particularly when he is playing really well.
Powell and Mcshane
Guess you have watched much rugby this year.
Powell is poor, has been for years, carried by the Wigan team, Mcshane has been awful.this year.
You don't half talk some rubbish.

another good signing of hodgsons was jake trueman..he made some good and bad signings. more good than bad i think.
I think we have to wait several months to make a decision on Trueman.
On paper it looked good, but we need to see what he does on the field

On Twitter, Phil Gould has denied that Franklin Pele is joining Hull, giving just a one word answer No, to a question from a concerned fan, so that one may be dead in the water. I must admit that I was surprised,, quite excited even, that we were supposedly getting him. He is getting regular minutes in the NRL this season, while Luke Thompson is out, so I couldn't see why he'd move over to SL.

Not that I think it will happen, but I wouldn't trust Phil Gould, he has a history of denying things that have happened.

https://twitter.com/PhilGould15/status/ ... 7731521547 To be fair he's hardly going to say yes
. Be a strange way to announce a player moving

Yeah I agree , but it wasn't an evasive or ambiguous statement , just a simple "No". Was only posting it because he'd been discussed as a potential target.
I'd hope we will test the water with Salford, for Dupree , who'd I imagine will be high in demand, but worth a punt, nonetheless.

Amazed Cas have the money. I wouldn't get into a bigging war, I would target Ackers before Dupree.
150k is a lot of money for a player who has has played 20 or so SL games.
