Some unbelieveable comments about Crooks. Every team needs strike players who can turn a game on it's head. So maybe his defence is a bit suspect - thats up to the coaches to sort out. I'm not sure Radford has got as much out of him as Gentle did. If I remember rightly we had the supreme poacher in Garry Schofield, who brought the winning spark to quite a few otherwise average games.
In my opinion Crooks will turn into an excellent player, but he still needs time to develop.

Not sure there's even people saying they'd be happy about it. There is though, plenty saying they wouldn't be bothered, which I think is a lie. When there's rumours of players leaving people tend to say these sorts of things.

I'd be massively disappointed if he left, he has flaws in his game but is still very young and is good in attack. I'm not sure his hands and footwork are as good as some are making out, he's more a player that ghosts through a gap and has a turn of pace. However, if it was the players choice to leave then i'd be happy to let anyone go that doesn't want to be part of the club.

Should the issue be whether we are or aren't bothered about whether particular players leave?

Shouldn't the real issue be that some players (allegedly) want to leave the club and if so the reason why?

Dropping some players on the grounds of poor form when others are playing week in week out on reputation would be my guess

Ben Crooks was dropped for missing tackles yet Yeaman missed two crucial tackles against Warrington yet always keeps his place,whilst another Radford favourite Tuson misses tackles but was never dropped.
The problem with Radford he doesn't like flair players only power and grunt.
I don't buy into Radford as a coach he is taking the club backwards.
His marquee signing is Leon Pryce yet Ben Roberts signs for Castleford.
I think the way the club have treated McDonnell and possibly Miller to come is having an effect on club signings.Agents are not going to stand by and see their clients hung out to dry.
We badly need a big powerful second row and if Ben Crooks is not in Radfords plans then another centre is a priority.
In the interim why not recall Chris Green and give him a run in the second row

How would we know the reason why, if it is only a rumour?

Ben Roberts is an okay signing for Cas, nothing special.
