Yes how rotten of Gwilym to go on about a drug taking cheat and a CEO who orchestrates a cover up. Fancy a journalist going on about something trivial like that, doesn't he have anything newsworthy like a Hull FC training session he could report on?
Oh dear. I was responding to a Huddersfield fan's neutral criticism of Lloyd's performance on Radio 5 Live. To say Lloyd is impartial within the city's RL would be an extreme stretching of the truth. To say he is a rugby league expert when his knowledge of rugby league beyond the city boundaries is shaky would be similarly unwise. Of course it's a highly newsworthy story, there can be no doubt about it. That's why he was sought out by 5 LIve as the impartial expert. Sadly for them, and for the sport of RL, according to Mr Giant, it didn't quite work out. I was furnishing our Huddersfield friend with some explanatory context for his criticism of Lloyd's effort on national radio. Simple as.

What about the league points Hull FC picked up whilst Gleeson was cheating? FC certainly won a derby with Gleeson scoring a try. Cas lost out to Hull for a play off spot by a single point so they have grounds for complaint certainly.
It's OK Hull saying the culprits have left the club but that's not good enough. Hull benefitted by the cheating of 3 of the staff and there will have to be some pay back.
Instead of worrying about Gwilym Llloyd you should be more concerned about the repercussions that may still lie ahead.
You speak indignantly as if this is new inforamtion. Of course there may well be consequences. I have already brought this point up myself and defended it against those who said there probably wouldn't be. Sadly you seem to have tripped over that fact in your haste to caress your beloved "G". Tragic.
And as for the point about Rovers being cheated of a couple of points, let's not forget you got smashed by 50, yes 50 points, in your play-off game. I have sympathy with Cas, for sure, but only the most delusional Rovers fan would claim this incident had a major impact on the competition.
