Completely different. To use that example I could list loads of players who said they are staying and have.

Berrigan was already proven in the NRL so had no shortage of takers, he was also 'going home' and we had a quota spot to utilise with him leaving.

Maybe someone is Danny's family did say something to you but maybe they did not have all the facts? Either way I will be amazed if he is not here in 2012.

What is different about a player going into the public arena declaring their love of the club and claiming they are going nowhere, then weeks later going ?
My point is there are several examples of what is said to the fans and what is done a few weeks later!

Houghon is a very honest person and if he says he will stay I would believe him.

Unless a good NRL offer comes in Houghton will play the rest of career with Hull if we want him.

the same as what you are basing your observations on, opinion formed on the basis of information given to me by other people, and my own knowledge of the situation.

we'll see who is right in due course I guess.

 Yeah lets book mark and it 5 years if Danny leaves for Wigan you can come back and tell me you told me so.

I do know Danny and some of his family, but obviously you have your own people.

He is certainly happy at the club at the moment, he has turned down better offers than Hull in the past, obviously you never know what the future holds, but I would surprised if Danny leaves Hull for another SL club.

Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Because it's a joint statement from Hull and Houghton.

Berrigan went to the hdm.

It's different for the reasons I stated about Berrigan, his situation was completely different to that of Berrigan's. The facts are Hull and Houghton have said he is going nowhere so for now that's good enough for me.

I don't know what information you have to think otherwise?

If it's a family member they could easily be wrong, Danny might have mentioned he is keen to play in the NRL one day (like he did in the article) but that does not mean he is going anywhere now. As for turning down his initial deal, that happens all the time as part of negotiations.

how strange though because his family thought it was all garbage too... however I dont know his 5th cousin twice removed like you

He doesnt want to go anywhere , hasnt asked to go anywhere, his agent hasnt touted him what so ever and the club and Danny are currently working on a better deal which will see him stay at the club for a long time to come.
DH is seen as one of the future cornerstones of Hull FC and as such a deal will be delivered IMO which reflects that but with all negos FC are never going to have their first offer accepted by any player... hence why the first was refused, albeit politely and in a very friendly manner with NO "or elses" involved!!!

Like i said as this thread started DH finds all this amusing / mildly irritating bit like :ASK:
