Halton gone, sounds like no fee, as Chris mentioned all in the players favour now, contracts are pretty worthless.

Be a shame to lose Salford but it is looking pretty bleak for them, hopefully they can turn things round.

On a very quick glance, it looks like Shaw has made a bit of a leap there. In fairness, tweets lack nuance and so can be difficult to interpret. The fact he changes tack in response to a response suggests it might not be quite what he first thought.

Unless he was really struggling, this feels unwise based on what I know… which is limited, of course. I don’t know why we didn’t at least make him see out the season. That’d have been pretty generous in itself.

Unless the finances have changed in one direction or the other.

I now think us signing up L Johnson to fill out the middle of our squad for next year looks a good option.
