Not many other options, Houghton inconsistent as hell lately, looked shot against Huddersfield and Leeds then plays well against catalans.

Johnstone looked good under Last, but has done nothing under Hodgson.

I agree we need new life at hooker. Sure BH can see it if we can. The squad has been unbalanced for a few seasons now, so not an easy fix.

Honestly can’t see finances allowing a new number nine when we already have two, unless Johnstone can be utilised in a different position.

I believe so - I was told it was done and dusted before Hopoate - though I suspect they have been waiting for Roby decisions before announcing it (as our fanbase loves a bit of melodrama). Wouldnt surprise me if the club announced it in the next week or two now Roby is announced. I also believe Smith has been told we wouldnt stop him looking for another club

The bigger question for us is the mystery two forwards supposedly signed as well.
