Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
I know its early days, but so far this season Briscoe has been better than Raynor has for the past two seasons. I rate Raynor alot, but he shouldn't get in ahead of Briscoe on the wing when he comes back. I really hope we don't move Briscoe to the centres as for me, he has all the attributes to be a very, very good winger. I've not really seen much that would suggest he would be better at centre at first grade level.
Also, what would be the point in dropping Calderwood for Raynor? Calderwood has had no good ball in the games so far His centre partner had no good ball in the first two games either and in the last game was rubbish with the ball in hand. The sooner Tony comes back, meaning Hall can go to centre the better. Thats the only way we have a chance of getting the best out of Calderwood

Its a tough call. Calderwood/Raynor would be the expected wingers so in some ways I can see Raynor getting straight in. However Briscoe does not deserve to be dropped. One option would be to play Briscoe at centre instead of Horne but I for me it will prove a much harder position for him to play, especially defensively as it proved the other day when Mogg skipped round him.
The other factor is Briscoe might need resting at some stage, playing him every week won't be good for him imo.

If Halls at full back i would have no issues with Briscoe, Horne and Whiting sharing the right centre spot. (in that order of preference)

I don't dispute the fact that he may need a rest. But I do dispute the idea of just putting him in the centres just because it is deemed Raynor should automatically put back into the team. It's the same with Hall and the fullback spot and when Tony comes back. But its a few games too early to start that debate properly

Tony and Raynor will both come back into the team provided they are fit and training well.
Briscoe could well even take Calderwood's place if MC is not performing to his best. Once Raynor is back then form will dictate who plays where.

Usually I would agree about Tony as its obvious I really rate him. But if Hall has some stormers, scoring tries to the standard of last year, and gets hattricks again, then I would be all for him keeping the spot. If Raynor was back for Friday I wouldn't select him due to Briscoes form and the fact that having him instead of Calderwood wouldn't change anything due to the current tactics employed

Raynor's dummy half running is better than MC's.
The thing is we can debate it all day but its about what they do in training aswell as match days that count. The good thing is we have options, unless by the time Raynor/Tony come back we have picked up any injuries then it will make RA decision easier.
